This report evaluates currently available centrally ducted variable speed heat pumps (VSHPs) to enhance understanding of their products, pricing, and performance specifications. It also includes an analysis of performance impacts from various factors, and introduces an 8,760-hour energy balance model to assist users in comparing heat pump configurations based on efficiency and cost of ownership.
